Extraordinary success of our partner school, PORG
We are extremely happy to feature the success of one of our partner schools, PORG. PORG is a selective prestigious school in the Czech Republic and its students are often admitted to top universities worldwide. At Oxford & Cambridge (Oxbridge), the majority of Czech students come from PORG.
For the 2023/4 admissions season, we established a partnership with PORG. As part of it, we organised mock interviews for all PORG students who received invitations to Oxford or Cambridge interviews. The applicants received 1-on-1 mock interviews with tutors who were all students or graduates of the given subject at Oxbridge.
PORG achieved a historical success rate of 50% of Oxbridge applications this year, meaning that half of the students who applied received offers. This is an extraordinary result as it is the highest admissions rate that the school has ever achieved and it places it amongst the very top list of high schools globally. For comparison: last year, the highest success rate of 59% was achieved by St Paul’s Girls’ School in London, while Eton College achieved 27%.
We are proud to have supported PORG students on their application journey and to be able to work with such talented students, as well as to have contributed to this exceptional result.
